Council in Session by irisible

Format: Commander

Commander: Karlov of the Ghost Council

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Karlov of the Ghost Council commands an aggressive Orzhov lifegain and aristocrats deck designed to convert incidental life increments into overwhelming board presence and lethal commander damage. By pairing cheap lifegain sources like Soul Warden, Lunarch Veteran, and extort cards with Karlov, the commander rapidly grows into a massive threat while doubling as repeatable exile removal for opposing creatures. The deck secures victories through swift commander damage eliminations, persistent group drain from Blood Artist, Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim, and Starscape Cleric, or high-impact finishers like Debt to the Deathless and Vizkopa Guildmage activating alongside Revenge to drain the entire table in a single turn.
