Deck overview

Alistair, the Brigadier heads a Bant historic token swarm that multiplies its board with many doublers. You cast historic spells to make 1/1 Soldiers with Alistair, then amplify every token with Mondrak, Anointed Procession, Doubling Season, Parallel Lives, Primal Vigor, Adrix and Nev, Ojer Taq, Elspeth and others. The main win is going wide and closing with Craterhoof Behemoth, Coat of Arms, or Alistair's {8} anthem that pumps by historic permanents. Secondary value comes from Thopter Spy Network, Koma, Cosmos Serpent, Ghalta and Mavren and Ghalta, Stampede Tyrant. A fragile extra-turn loop with Displacer Kitten, Jin-Gitaxias, Progress Tyrant, Panharmonicon, Venser and Nexus of Fate exists but is not the plan. Alistair provides steady tokens and a late pump, but the deck wins without him and has no hidden commander.
