Deck overview

Thranduil, the Elvenking commands a Sultai Elfball deck blending explosive green mana generation with black graveyard manipulation and blue card draw. The primary game plan leverages low-cost mana dorks like Priest of Titania, Bloom Tender, and Llanowar Elves to ramp into draw engines such as Guardian Project, Rhystic Study, and Thranduil's loot ability. Entomb effects like Buried Alive and Gifts Ungiven stock the graveyard with high-impact utility Elves, allowing Thranduil to copy activated abilities from Ezuri, Renegade Leader, Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord, and Devoted Druid. The deck converts massive mana into decisive wins through Staff of Domination infinite loops, lethal Jarad life-drain flings, or wide trample overruns. Backed by solid interaction and protection pieces like Allosaurus Shepherd and Heroic Intervention, the list reliably threatens same-turn victories on Turn 5.
