Deck overview

This is a Zedruu donation-control deck that turns harmful or useless permanents into life, cards, and win conditions. The primary plan is to gain a large life total through enters-the-battlefield effects like Delusions of Mediocrity and Illusions of Grandeur, then donate those permanents to opponents so the drawbacks become their problem. Secondary paths include assembling a huge hand to power Psychosis Crawler or Niv-Mizzet, drawing into Approach of the Second Sun, or using Aetherflux Reservoir as a finisher. The commander acts as both a draw engine and a donation outlet, while a pillow fort of Ghostly Prison, Sphere of Safety, and Glacial Chasm protects the life total. The deck can also function without Zedruu through alternative donate outlets like Iroh and Stiltzkin.
