Deck overview

This deck is an Outlaw-themed theft and aggro strategy commanded by Laughing Jasper Flint. The primary game plan involves curving cheap Rogues, Pirates, and Mercenaries on early turns to maximize Jasper's upkeep exile trigger starting on Turn 4. The deck converts stolen opposing cards and native Treasure generators into sustained board presence, using the color-fixing properties of Jasper and spells like Outrageous Robbery to cast opponents' best threats. Because it eschews high-tier fast mana and infinite combos, it wins through accumulated combat damage backed by menace, evasion, and theft-focused haymakers like Mutinous Massacre. While the deck possesses steady card velocity once its commander sticks, its heavy dependence on creature permanents and sparse counter-interaction leaves it vulnerable to well-timed board wipes.
