Maximum Effing Salt. B4, Cr. by Thunderthruster

Format: Commander

Commander: Sauron, the Dark Lord

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Sauron, the Dark Lord commands a versatile Grixis control and combo shell designed to dominate the board while assembling game-ending engines. Sauron punishes opponents whenever they cast spells by growing an Orc Army and wheels through your deck whenever the Army connects, rapidly loading the graveyard and digging for critical pieces. The primary win condition loops Gravecrawler with Phyrexian Altar to generate infinite storm and colored mana, culminating in a lethal Grapeshot. Secondary paths exploit reanimation spells like Reanimate and Victimize to cheat out devastating threats such as Valgavoth, Terror Eater and Toxrill, the Corrosive, or assemble infinite red mana using Jeska's Will and Reiterate.
