b3 Aikido by user6421848

Format: Commander

Commander: Queen Marchesa

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Mardu Aikido deck wins by turning opponents' aggression against them rather than attacking itself. Queen Marchesa supplies monarch draw and hasty Assassin tokens while pillowfort pieces like Windborn Muse, Nils, Discipline Enforcer and goad effects force opponents to attack each other. Damage-redirection instants such as Deflecting Palm, Inkshield and Mirror Strike punish those attacks, and Sunforger tutors the right answer at instant speed. The only deterministic combo is Brash Taunter with Fire Covenant or Blasphemous Act plus Arcbond, acting as a hidden commander finisher. Secondary pressure comes from monarch value, Nelly Borca and Breena draws, and burn like Price of Progress and Prisoner's Dilemma.
