Deck overview

This deck is an Azorius Midrange-Control list centered around Denzilore Fatehold, leveraging dense scry and surveil synergies to rapidly buff an evasive aerial army. The primary game plan utilizes low-cost enablers like Sigiled Starfish, Hermes, Overseer of Elpis, and cantrips to trigger Denzilore repeatedly, growing flying creatures and token armies into an overwhelming combat clock by Turn 5. The list supports its proactive aggression with an elite suite of reactive interaction and plan-shielding spells, including free countermagic (Force of Will, Fierce Guardianship) and zero-mana phasing protection (Clever Concealment, Teferi's Protection). As a compact secondary win condition, the deck features the Isochron Scepter and Dramatic Reversal infinite untap combo to generate infinite mana and draw the library via Sensei's Divining Top. With robust card flow from The Theorist, Jace Beleren and Rhystic Study, alongside stax pieces like Drannith Magistrate, the deck methodically controls tempo before closing games around Turn 7.
