Deck overview

The First Sliver is a five-color cascade engine. The deck's primary plan is to accelerate into it, chain Sliver spells into more Slivers, and use Sliver Overlord as an effective hidden commander to tutor for Food Chain + Squee, Sliver Queen, or the missing combat lords. Secondary wins come from an unblockable, flying, hasted Sliver army boosted by Sliver Legion after a Food Chain or Mana Echoes mana loop. The commander's role is to provide massive card advantage and free casts; the deck is built almost entirely around its cascade trigger. A strong free-interaction and protection suite helps resolve and protect the chain.
