Deck overview

This Golgari deck pairs aggressive deathtouch attackers with a fast poison clock. The Serpent Society turns every deathtouch creature into removal deterrent, forcing opponents to sacrifice nontoken creatures whenever your blockers trade or attackers fall. Ward five poison counters also heavily punishes targeted interaction. You win primarily by applying rapid poison counters using early toxic threats alongside Fynn the Fangbearer, which grants deathtouch creatures double poison triggers. Once opponents are poisoned, you close games quickly through combat pressure, trample enablers like Duskshell Crawler and Rhonas Monument, or repetitive proliferate effects from cards like Bloated Contaminator and Vraska Betrayals Sting.
