Deck overview

This deck is a Jund -1/-1 counter midrange engine commanded by Auntie Ool, Cursewretch. It turns counter placement into immediate card advantage and opponent life loss. The deck develops early mana with efficient mana creatures and artifacts to cast Auntie Ool on Turn 4. From there, it spreads -1/-1 counters using creatures like Channeler Initiate, Devoted Druid, and Skinrender, generating steady card flow and board control. By Turn 6, pieces like Kulrath Knight, Carnifex Demon, and Necroskitter establish an asymmetric lock, preventing opponents' modified creatures from attacking or blocking while stealing dying threats. The deck closes games through wide token combat from Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons and Flourishing Defenses, cumulative drain, or an infinite loop with Blowfly Infestation. While strong against creature-based strategies, it remains vulnerable to non-creature combo decks due to a lack of stack interaction.
