Deck overview

This deck is an explosive mono-green token aggro strategy built around Shroofus Sproutsire. It accelerates rapidly in the opening turns using efficient 1-mana dorks and cost reducers to cast Shroofus ahead of curve. Once on the battlefield, the deck modifies Shroofus with power-boosting Auras, Equipment, and combat pump spells. Because Shroofus is a Saproling with native trample, connecting for combat damage instantly spawns an equivalent number of 1/1 Saproling tokens. This initial burst rapidly scales into a massive swarm that threatens the entire table. The deck converts token volume into mana via Cryptolith Rite and Jaheira, Friend of the Forest, and into overwhelming damage through finishers like Beastmaster Ascension, Tyvar, the Pummeler, and Unnatural Growth. A lean suite of instant-speed hexproof and indestructible spells protects key permanents from opposing disruption. Independent backup token engines like Tendershoot Dryad and Mycoloth ensure resilience if the commander faces heavy removal.
