Blitz the table!!! by freshvswho

Format: Commander

Commander: Henzie "Toolbox" Torre

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a Jund midrange aristocrats list built around Henzie "Toolbox" Torre, who gives every creature spell with mana value 4 or greater blitz and discounts those blitz costs for each time he has been recast. The ninety-nine is almost entirely expensive bodies (average mana value 4.73), so the plan is to land Henzie, start hurling haymakers with haste, and convert the mandatory end-step deaths into cards, drain, and another trip to the battlefield. Wins come from combat and death-trigger damage-Yargle and Multani as a one-shot 18-power clock, Warstorm Surge and Stalking Vengeance turning every enter-or-die into table-wide reach-rather than any infinite combo. Recursion such as Riveteers Ascendancy, Oversold Cemetery, and Rise of the Dark Realms lets the same monsters take a second lap, while Birthing Pod and Vivien on the Hunt climb the curve. Henzie is the piece that makes the high curve playable, but recasting him is part of the plan: each return cheapens every subsequent blitz.
