Deck overview

This deck is a mono-red Dragon tribal midrange strategy commanded by Lathliss, Dragon Queen. The primary game plan accelerates mana in the early turns using cost reducers and mana rocks, deploys Lathliss on Turn 5, and rapidly builds a devastating air force by triggering her ability with large Dragon spells. Each subsequent Dragon cast generates a 5/5 flying Dragon token, creating immense board presence and enabling massive combat swings backed by team-wide firebreathing. High-impact finishers such as Terror of Mount Velus, Utvara Hellkite, and Scourge of Valkas amplify damage output through double strike, token exponential growth, and direct burn triggers. The deck possesses formidable combat scaling and strong standalone threat redundancy, but operates with minimal stack interaction and plan protection. It is particularly vulnerable to timely board wipes and heavy control decks that can exploit its lack of defensive countermagic.
