Deck overview

This deck is a Jeskai cycling and creature token deck commanded by Gavi, Nest Warden. The strategy leverages Gavi's ability to reduce the first cycling cost each turn to {0}, which triggers her second ability to produce 2/2 Dinosaur Cat tokens when drawing a second card. The deck supplements this with broader Cat tribal and token synergies, including token doublers such as Anointed Procession and Ojer Taq, Deepest Foundation, and combat anthems like Skyhunter Strike Force and Caretaker's Talent. Acceleration relies on a dense suite of 2-mana rocks, facilitating a Turn 4 Gavi deployment. Rather than pursuing combo finishes, the deck aims to grind card advantage through free cycling, build an overwhelming board of tokens across opponents' turns, and conclude the game through wide combat steps around Turn 8.
