Deck overview

This Orzhov Vampire aristocrats deck grinds value through sacrifice, lifegain, and drain. Carmen, Cruel Skymarcher grows whenever any player sacrifices a permanent and attacks to reanimate a permanent with mana value equal to her power, acting as repeatable recursion. The deck wins by assembling lifegain-drain loops or by overwhelming the board with Vampire tokens and lifegain payoffs. Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose and Bloodthirsty Conqueror form the primary infinite, while Bloodletter of Aclazotz with Shredder, Shadow Master provides a one-turn life-halving finisher. Grave Pact effects and sacrifice outlets control the board while you draw off Braids, Necropotence, and Bolas's Citadel.
