Deck overview

This is a Mardu turbo-combo deck centered on Extus, Oriq Overlord // Awaken the Blood Avatar. The primary plan is to use a dense suite of fast mana and tutors to assemble an infinite-mana engine - Auriok Salvagers + Lion's Eye Diamond or Underworld Breach + Lion's Eye Diamond - and then convert that mana into a kill by casting the commander's back face, Awaken the Blood Avatar, repeatedly. Each cast forces every opponent to sacrifice a creature and creates a hasted 3/6 Avatar; a full turn of 14+ Avatar attacks deals 42+ damage to each opponent outright. Secondary lines include Extus, Oriq Overlord + Chain of Smog + Storm-Kiln Artist for infinite treasures, and Underworld Breach + Lion's Eye Diamond + Wheel of Fortune + Orcish Bowmasters to drain the table.
