Deck overview

This deck is a high-tempo Grixis spellslinger and combat-burn strategy commanded by Fire Lord Azula. The primary game plan revolves around deploying Azula on curve, attacking to generate firebending combat mana, and leveraging her triggered ability to duplicate every spell cast while she is attacking. The deck converts combat phases into explosive resource engines by copying combat instants like Savage Beating and Great Train Heist, drawing massive card volume through Archmage Emeritus, and pooling immense mana with Avatar Roku, Firebender and Neheb, the Eternal.
