Deck overview

This deck is an optimized five-color Dragon tribal list commanded by The Ur-Dragon. It leverages the commander's eminence ability to reduce all Dragon casting costs by one generic mana from the command zone, accelerating powerful threats ahead of curve. The mana base is completely optimized with original dual lands, fetchlands, and efficient one-to-two mana ramp spells like Bloom Tender, Birds of Paradise, and Nature's Lore. By turns four and five, the deck transitions from ramp to overwhelming aerial board states through force-multiplying engines such as Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, Terror of the Peaks, Utvara Hellkite, and Old Gnawbone. Haste enablers like Temur Ascendancy and Dragon Tempest allow massive combat damage to connect immediately, while protection spells like Heroic Intervention and Teferi's Protection shield against opposing sweepers. The deck closes games rapidly through compounding combat damage, direct damage triggers, and potential extra-combat loops with Hellkite Charger, overwhelming traditional multiplayer defenses with sheer aerial power.
