Deck overview

This Azorius deck is an evasive tempo and counter-control engine commanded by Denzilore Fatehold. The primary game plan leverages cheap, repeatable scry and surveil spells to distribute +1/+1 counters across your entire creature board at instant speed. Flashing in Denzilore at the end of an opponent's turn allows you to untap and rapidly scale your board while holding up interaction. Complementary card-draw engines like Matoya, Archon Elder and Archmage Emeritus turn every scry cantrip into substantial card advantage, keeping your hand full of countermagic and protection. The deck closes games through wide, unblockable flying assaults enabled by Herald of Secret Streams and asymmetric board clears such as Damning Verdict. Additionally, a potent secondary planeswalker package featuring Jace, Reality Sculptor, The Theorist, Jace Beleren, and Empower Jace synergies provides massive loyalty accumulation that can exile opposing libraries or generate continuous token pressure.
