Commander: Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Dimir tempo-aggro deck built around Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow's commander ninjutsu. The core plan is to drop an unblockable one-drop on turn one, exchange it for Yuriko on turn two, then use repeated combat to chain ninjas and trigger her reveal-drain ability. Top-of-library manipulation - Brainstorm, Ponder, Lim-Dul's Vault, Faerie Seer, and Halimar Depths - turns those reveals into high-mana-value haymakers like Shadow of Mortality, Temporal Trespass, Hullbreaker Horror, and Tidespout Tyrant. The deck has three overlapping kill modes: Doomsday piles that drain the table through multiple Yuriko triggers, unbounded cast/bounce loops using Peregrine Drake, Hullbreaker Horror, Tidespout Tyrant, and Ornithopter to strip blockers before combat, and a surprisingly fast unblockable-ninja beatdown. Satoru Umezawa acts as a hidden lieutenant, giving every creature card ninjutsu and digging on each activation.
