Deck overview

This Selesnya deck leverages T'Challa, the Black Panther to turn high-cost artifact spells into rapid commander growth and mana velocity. Each time T'Challa enters the battlefield or attacks, he creates an indestructible Vibranium token that produces colorless mana restricted to artifact spells. Casting artifact spells with mana value 4 or greater puts two +1/+1 counters on T'Challa, transforming him into a formidable Voltron threat. The list complements this engine with resilient equipment, high-impact artifact creatures like Metalwork Colossus, and robust card-draw engines like Idol of Oblivion and Garruk's Uprising. The deck converts board presence into game-ending combat steps using stat multipliers such as Bast, Panther Goddess, Thickest in the Thicket, and Overwhelming Stampede. Supported by proactive hexproof and indestructible protection, the deck steadily grinds through opponent removal and eliminates players in sequential combat steps.
