Deck overview

This Temur Dragon deck leverages Ureni of the Unwritten to cheat devastating flying threats into play ahead of schedule. The early game focuses on accelerating mana through land ramp, cost reducers, and dorks. On turn 5, casting Ureni digs eight cards deep to drop game-ending Dragons like Atarka, World Render, Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, or Utvara Hellkite directly onto the battlefield. Power-based enchantments like Temur Ascendancy and Garruk's Uprising provide continuous card draw and crucial haste enablers. The deck closes games by overwhelming the table with evasive aerial damage over two turns, backed by direct damage triggers from Dragon Tempest and Scourge of Valkas, or by assembling an infinite attack loop with Aggravated Assault and Savage Ventmaw. While highly resilient against countermagic and spot removal, it remains vulnerable to well-timed mass exile wipes.
