Deck overview

This is a Rakdos Treasure/Dragon value deck helmed by Smaug, Wicked Worm, built around one core loop: generate as many Treasure tokens as possible, spend them to cast spells (drawing a card and losing 1 life off the commander each time), and convert that mass of artifacts into damage. The deck's primary win paths are combat with evasive dragons, the treasure-scaled burn of Smaug the Magnificent, and the token-drain of Mirkwood Bats. It is a midrange engine deck that wins through incremental value and a wide artifact board rather than a fast combo, with a deep redundancy of treasure producers (Magda, the Hoardmaster, Gloin, Dwarf Emissary, Heroes for Hire, There and Back Again) making the plan resilient to losing individual pieces.
