Deck overview

This Bant deck combines classic Group Hug politics and Pillowfort defense with a sudden combo finish helmed by Phelddagrif. During the early game, the deck accelerates its mana using one-mana dorks and two-mana rocks while deploying symmetric draw engines such as The Council of Four and Rites of Flourishing. These political tools keep opponents focused on each other while the pilot hides behind taxing enchantments like Ghostly Prison and Propaganda. As the hand swells, the deck looks to assemble Intruder Alarm alongside a multi-mana creature like Bloom Tender or Faeburrow Elder. By repeatedly activating Phelddagrif to gift Hippo tokens to opponents, Intruder Alarm repeatedly untaps all creatures, generating infinite mana. Pairing this loop with Suture Priest drains the entire table in a single turn, while cards like Ezuri's Predation and Reins of Power offer decisive combat-based contingency plans.
