Deck overview

This Dimir deck combines snow mana payoffs with traditional Zombie typal synergies under Narfi, Betrayer King. The primary game plan develops through early ramp and cheap Zombie creatures, transitioning into midgame board presence powered by lords like Death Baron, Lord of the Accursed, and Bladestitched Skaab. Narfi, Betrayer King acts as a repeatable anthem from the graveyard, bypassing commander tax via its triple-snow activation cost. Value engines like Wilhelt, the Rotcleaver, Necroduality, and Gisa and Geralf replenish the board and maintain hand size. The deck interacts proactively using a dense suite of 8 counterspells alongside asymmetric board wipes like Dead of Winter and Blood on the Snow. Win conditions center around overwhelming combat damage with evasion granted by Geralf, Visionary Stitcher or Filth, supported by burst life drain from Gray Merchant of Asphodel and mass reanimation from Rise of the Dark Realms.
