Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul landfall strategy led by Tannuk, Memorial Ensign. It accelerates mana in the early turns using efficient land search spells and creatures like Lotus Cobra. Once Tannuk is on the board, every land drop deals direct noncombat damage to each opponent while the second landfall trigger each turn draws a card. The deck scales its damage output using amplifiers like Torbran, Thane of Red Fell and Ojer Axonil, Deepest Might. It closes games rapidly around Turn 5 through explosive land bursts from Scapeshift, Nahiri's Lithoforming, and Lumra, Bellow of the Woods, or via an infinite landfall loop with Ashaya, Soul of the Wild and Quirion Ranger. While the deck generates high card flow and rapid mana development, its reliance on creature permanents and a lean interaction suite leaves it exposed to well-timed spot removal and counterspells.
