Deck overview

This Mardu deck utilizes Megatron, Tyrant // Megatron, Destructive Force as a dynamic burn engine, mana accelerator, and combat focal point. Utilizing the More Than Meets the Eye alternate cost, Megatron enters on Turn 4 in Vehicle mode to immediately threaten combat on Turn 5. By sacrificing artifacts such as Knight Paladin or Solemn Simulacrum on attack, Megatron removes opposing creatures and channels excess damage directly to opponents' life totals. Converting Megatron postcombat converts life loss into large bursts of colorless mana, fueling high-impact artifacts like Cityscape Leveler, Reaver Titan, or a lethal Crackle with Power. The supporting 99 features dedicated artifact reanimation (Trash for Treasure, Greasefang, Okiba Boss, Mishra, Tamer of Mak Fawa) to continually recycle sacrificed threats, paired with broad spot removal and sweepers like Organic Extinction and Ruinous Ultimatum. The deck reliably executes a high-pressure beatdown and burn strategy, finishing games around Turn 7.
