Deck overview

This Orzhov deck is a dedicated Aristocrats engine helmed by Elenda, the Dusk Rose. The strategy focuses on curving early mana ramp into low-cost sacrifice outlets and recurring token generators such as Ophiomancer and Jadar, Ghoulcaller of Nephalia. Once Elenda, the Dusk Rose hits the battlefield, symmetric sacrifice effects from creatures like Plaguecrafter and Accursed Marauder disrupt opposing boards while rapidly placing +1/+1 counters on Elenda. When Elenda is sacrificed, she produces an explosive swarm of lifelink Vampire tokens. These tokens trigger death-drain permanents like Bastion of Remembrance, Cruel Celebrant, and Zulaport Cutthroat, or attack under buffs from Minthara, Merciless Soul and Teysa Karlov. Supported by dense draw engines and flexible spot removal, the deck grinds down opposing life totals across multiple turns.
