A Snowy Winter's Night by Dusky90

Format: Commander

Commander: Jorn, God of Winter // Kaldring, the Rimestaff

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Sultai snow deck leverages Jorn, God of Winter to double mana by untapping all snow permanents during combat, accelerating heavy ramp and card advantage engines. The alternate commander face, Kaldring, the Rimestaff, recurs critical snow permanents from the graveyard during grindy matchups. The primary game plan generates massive land counts through landfall engines like Tatyova, Benthic Druid and Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait. It finishes opponents by assembling the Dark Depths and Thespian's Stage combo to summon a 20/20 Marit Lage, casting a massive Torment of Hailfire funded by doubled snow mana, or overrunning the board with Overwhelming Stampede.
