Uugguu Buugguu by VaderTotz

Format: Commander

Commander: Uugguu, the Omniplasm

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Uugguu is the face engine, but the deck is really built around a hidden commander: a type-granting lock such as Maskwood Nexus. Maskwood, Arcane Adaptation, Leyline of Transformation, Omo counters, or March of the World Ooze turn every creature into an Ooze, so Uugguu's trigger applies to almost every nontoken death. Roaming Throne, choosing Ooze, doubles those death triggers. The primary win is a token-swarm/combat plan: die-triggers produce multiple 2/2 copies, then God-Eternal Rhonas, March of the World Ooze, or Nanogene Conversion turns them lethal. The secondary win is a compact Naru Meha/Saw in Half/Phyrexian Altar loop with Altar of Dementia as the mill-out. Uugguu is important but not required for the fastest combo lines.
