toph deck by Cheez

Format: Commander

Commander: Toph, the First Metalbender

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Naya lands-matter deck built around Toph, the First Metalbender converting artifacts into lands and using earthbend effects to animate lands as +1/+1-counter creatures. The plan is to out-ramp the table with extra-land engines like Azusa, Lost but Seeking and Loot, Exuberant Explorer, flood with landfall payoffs such as Zendikar's Roil, Omnath, Locus of Rage, and Retreat to Emeria, then close with giant animated lands, Mossborn Hydra, and Cultivator Colossus. Ancient Greenwarden doubles every landfall trigger, while Dune Chanter turns the commander's artifact-lands into actual mana producers. Secondary reach comes from Omnath, Locus of Rage death triggers, Tannuk, Memorial Ensign, and Sabotender pings. There are no infinite combos; the deck wins through incremental value, board presence, and combat.
