Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis crime-control and spellslinger midrange strategy commanded by Marchesa, Dealer of Death. The core game plan focuses on casting abundant, efficient targeted removal spells to trigger crime payoffs across the board. Every removal spell not only answers an opposing threat but also allows Marchesa to dig two cards deep, placing the best card in hand and filling the graveyard. In the early to mid-game, the deck plays 2-mana artifacts, establishes cost reducers like Goblin Electromancer, and chips in with scaling threats such as Vadmir, New Blood and Blood Hustler. As the graveyard fills with instant and sorcery cards, the deck transitions into the late game by deploying massive evasive finishers like Crackling Drake, Haughty Djinn, Melek, Reforged Researcher, and Fandaniel, Telophoroi Ascian.
