Deck overview

This is a Boros Voltron-aggro deck helmed by Lightning, Army of One that weaponizes her Stagger trigger-once she connects, all subsequent damage to that player (and their permanents) is doubled until your next turn. The plan is to land Lightning early, suit her with cheap protection and power Equipment, grant double strike so first-strike damage applies Stagger and regular combat damage rides the multiplier, then close with burn, extra combat, or a board-wide payoff. Secondary paths include go-wide pressure from Anim Pakal, Thousandth Moon and Forth Eorlingas!, noncombat damage doubling via Solphim, Mayhem Dominus, and redirection finishers off Brash Taunter and Boros Reckoner. A dense suite of free and cheap protection plus turn-lock pieces (Silence, Grand Abolisher, Deflecting Swat) keeps the combat step clean. The deck plays as a proactive, interaction-heavy midrange Voltron strategy rather than a pure combo shell.
