Marwyn Mono Green Commander by user8692229

Format: Commander

Commander: Marwyn, the Nurturer

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Marwyn, the Nurturer is an elfball engine: one-mana elves make turn-two Marwyn, later elves pump her, and she turns into a massive mana battery. The primary plan is to flood the board with elves, use Beast Whisperer, Selvala, and Shamanic Revelation to refuel, then win in one attack with Craterhoof Behemoth, Overwhelming Stampede, or Triumph of the Hordes. A secondary combo uses Umbral Mantle with Marwyn to generate infinite green mana, then Staff of Domination to draw the deck and Walking Ballista to remove all opponents. The commander is both early ramp and the fastest combo piece, though the deck retains a functional elfball core without her.
