Deck overview

This Orzhov deck is commanded by Eriette of the Charmed Apple and centers on an Aura-based pillowfort and life-drain attrition strategy. The primary plan deploys Eriette on Turn 3, followed by attaching debilitating Auras directly onto opposing creatures to neutralize threats and prevent attacks. As the Aura count scales, Eriette drains each opponent on every end step while padding your life total. High-impact Curses like Curse of Misfortunes and Overwhelming Splendor cripple specific opponents, while Ghostly Prison and Sphere of Safety construct a formidable defensive moat. The deck generates card advantage through enchantresses like Mesa Enchantress and Sram, Senior Edificer, and can recover wiped permanents in one sweep using Brilliant Restoration. Although it lacks fast combo finishes and stack interaction, it excels at grinding down opposing life totals while remaining well-defended on the ground.
