Deck overview

Y'shtola, Night's Blessed is an Esper noncreature-spell deck that turns every expensive instant or sorcery into life loss, life gain, and cards. The primary plan is to land Y'shtola, then chain mana value 3+ noncreature spells to drain all opponents while the end-step trigger draws extra cards. Secondary paths are token beatdown through G'raha Tia and Circle of Power/Transpose Wizard tokens, and a late Exsanguinate. G'raha Tia is the hidden commander: he converts each noncreature spell into a huge Hero token, giving the deck a fast clock that Y'shtola's drain supports. The commander is the engine; without her the deck still functions through Papalymo and token payoffs, but loses its primary draw/drain loop.
