Gale v2.0 by lucasgpandolfi

Format: Commander

Commander: Scion of Halaster and Gale, Waterdeep Prodigy

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Gale, Waterdeep Prodigy is the engine of a Dimir spell-slinging control deck; Scion of Halaster, the Background partner, is the supporting engine that converts the first draw each turn into a one-card graveyard fill. The primary plan is to cast cheap instants and sorceries, use Gale to recast the opposite card type from the graveyard, and accrue value through Professor Onyx, Talrand, Fandaniel, and Murmuring Mystic. Secondary paths are combo finishes: Laboratory Maniac plus Divining Witch to empty the library, or Ob Nixilis/Underworld Dreams plus Peer into the Abyss to punish mass draw. A counterspell-heavy interaction suite protects the combo turn.
