Deck overview

This is a midrange Sultai mutate deck helmed by Otrimi, the Ever-Playful. The core plan is to deploy cheap non-Human hosts, then repeatedly mutate a growing pile of value creatures onto them (or onto Otrimi itself) to trigger enter-the-battlefield-style effects, generate card advantage, ramp, remove threats, and build an enormous trampling body. Otrimi, the Ever-Playful acts as both a resilient 6/6 trampler and a combat-damage recursion engine that returns mutate cards from the graveyard, enabling a grindy value loop. Primary wins come from combat damage via oversized mutated threats and go-wide tokens; secondary paths include life drain from Insatiable Hemophage, permanent cheating with Auspicious Starrix, and attrition via edict and removal mutates. The deck plays a classic midrange game of incremental advantage rather than explosive combos.
