Kardur la Grosse Courge by user2967535

Format: Commander

Commander: Kardur, Doomscourge

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Kardur, Doomscourge leads a Rakdos value-and-punisher deck that turns opponents' creatures into a resource. The primary plan is to force attacks away from you with Kardur or goad effects, then drain life as creatures die and punish damage with Torbran, Gratuitous Violence, and Kaervek. Secondary paths include reanimator value with Living Death and Sepulchral Primordial, plus big-mana haymakers like Sunbird's Invocation and Coveted Jewel. The commander is a tempo/control piece rather than a combo engine; the deck can function without him but loses its best defensive and draining tool.
