Deck overview

This Simic deck helmed by Tawnos, the Toymaker is a token-generation value engine that exploits his ability to copy Beast and Bird creature spells, creating artifact tokens. The deck is built around a dense core of Beasts, Birds, and changelings (which are both), allowing Tawnos to double up on powerful ETB triggers, landfall effects, and combat payoffs. The primary win condition is a massive combat swing via Craterhoof Behemoth or Overwhelming Stampede, often supported by token doublers like Parallel Lives and anthem effects like Beastmaster Ascension. The deck also includes a proliferate subtheme (Thrummingbird, Tainted Observer) that can grow counters on Beastmaster Ascension, Waterbender Ascension, or the commander itself. With a solid ramp package and a handful of interaction pieces, the deck aims to overwhelm opponents with a wide, ever-growing board of creatures.
