Veyran Spellslinger Atack by OnLyOu

Format: Commander

Commander: Veyran, Voice of Duality

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a classic Izzet spellslinger deck helmed by Veyran, Voice of Duality, built to chain instants and sorceries while doubling every triggered ability those casts set off. Veyran's Magecraft grows her with each spell, and her doubling clause supercharges the deck's magecraft creatures - Archmage Emeritus and Archmage of Runes draw two cards per spell, Storm-Kiln Artist makes two Treasures, and Talrand, Sky Summoner makes two Drakes. The primary win is combat: a pumped Veyran or prowess team swinging through Temur Battle Rage and Bria, Riptide Rogue, or a one-shot Chandra's Ignition on a 40-power Veyran to dome all three opponents at once. Backup lines include a Niv-Mizzet, Parun ping engine and a Thousand-Year Storm + Narset's Reversal copy loop. The deck is a value engine first, a combo deck second.
