Deck overview

This is an Izzet artifact-cheat and charge-counter deck built around Jhoira, Ageless Innovator. The plan is to grow Jhoira's ingenuity counters - through her own activations and a dense proliferate package - so she can deposit large artifacts from hand onto the battlefield for free. The deck then leverages charge-counter synergies to accelerate its two primary alt-win conditions: Darksteel Reactor and Lux Artillery. Tekuthal, Inquiry Dominus, Inexorable Tide, and Deepglow Skate form the proliferation engine that makes those wins realistic, while Emry, Lurker of the Loch and Buried Ruin provide artifact recursion. Combat through Myr Battlesphere, Threefold Thunderhulk, and Kappa Cannoneer is the fallback plan. The deck is a grindy, value-forward build that wants the game to go long enough to bury opponents under counters and large artifact threats.
