Format: Commander

Commander: Vivi Ornitier

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Vivi Ornitier leads a tempo-spellslinger burn deck. The primary plan is to cast many cheap noncreature spells, growing Vivi and triggering Guttersnipe, Electrostatic Field, Coruscation Mage, and similar payoffs while Vivi's power-based mana fuels the chain. Niv-Mizzet, Parun is the hidden finisher in the 99: with Curiosity it creates a deterministic draw-ping loop, and Niv-Mizzet, Visionary turns every ping into cards. Secondary paths include prowess combat with Stormcatch Mentor, Balmor, and Wee Dragonauts, plus Ral's storm emblem. The deck is fast but fragile to rule-of-law effects and commander removal, relying on counterspells and bounce to protect its turn.
