Deck overview

This is a mono-green "big mana" combo deck helmed by Selvala, Heart of the Wilds. The plan is to deploy a critical mass of mana dorks, cast Selvala early, then drop an oversized creature - most efficiently Phyrexian Dreadnought, a 12/12 for a single mana - to make Selvala tap for 6-12 mana. That mana fuels an infinite loop: Temur Sabertooth bouncing and recasting the Dreadnought, Staff of Domination or Umbral Mantle on Selvala, or Great Oak Guardian flashing in to untap her. Once infinite mana and card draw are established, Finale of Devastation for a huge X gives the team haste and trample for a one-shot kill. The deck is extraordinarily tutor-dense - Green Sun's Zenith, Chord of Calling, Worldly Tutor, Summoner's Pact, and Survival of the Fittest among 15+ search effects - making its lines highly consistent. Secondary plans include overwhelming combat via Ghalta, Primal Hunger and Surrak and Goreclaw.
