Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue theft and artifact-copying strategy commanded by Thada Adel, Acquisitor. The game plan revolves around turning opposing lands into Islands with cards like Harbinger of the Seas, Quicksilver Fountain, and Spreading Seas, ensuring Thada can attack unblocked each combat step. Once through, Thada exiles and casts critical artifact ramp and combo pieces directly from opponents' libraries. The deck then duplicates these stolen assets using versatile copy engines such as Copy Artifact, Phyrexian Metamorph, Mirrormade, and Mirrorworks. As mana and board presence accumulate, the deck transitions into control and win conditions through Memnarch, Agent of Treachery, Blatant Thievery, Mechanized Production, or an overrun attack with The Antiquities War. Reactive disruption is heavy and flavorful, utilizing high-impact theft counterspells like Desertion and Spelljack to turn opponents' strongest plays into your own winning advantage.
