Feeling Squirrely by SwellFellar

Format: Commander

Commander: Chatterfang, Squirrel General

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Golgari token-stax-combo hybrid helmed by Chatterfang, Squirrel General, whose passive doubles every token you create with an extra 1/1 Squirrel. The deck generates massive token armies through cards like Deep Forest Hermit, Underworld Hermit, and Second Harvest, then leverages sacrifice outlets-Ashnod's Altar, Pitiless Plunderer, Attrition-for mana, card draw, or direct drain effects (Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, Nadier's Nightblade). Primary wins come from infinite creature-sacrifice loops (Chatterfang + Ashnod's Altar + Pitiless Plunderer infinite mana and Squirrels, then Blasting Station or a drain effect) or from overrun-style combat with Beastmaster Ascension or Banner of Kinship. The deck is highly synergistic but lacks a robust tutor suite, relying on natural draws and card advantage engines like Toski, Bearer of Secrets and Moldervine Reclamation to find its pieces.
