Deck overview

This deck executes a high-tempo Mono-Green Stompy game plan centered around Ghalta, Primal Hunger. The primary game plan accelerates early mana through 1-drop dorks and curve-efficient beaters such as Pugnacious Hammerskull, Steel Leaf Champion, and Regal Imperiosaur to amass 10 or more power by turn 3 or 4. This reduces Ghalta's casting cost to its absolute minimum of {G}{G}, deploying a 12/12 trampler ahead of conventional timing. Once the board is established, power-based draw engines like Garruk's Uprising, Elemental Bond, and Rishkar's Expertise replenish the hand, while combat multipliers including Overwhelming Stampede and Unnatural Growth convert massive stat totals into multi-opponent lethal swings across two combat rotations. The deck features strong natural redundancy in creature sizing and resilient commander recovery, though it remains vulnerable to well-timed board wipes and relies on combat connections to close games.
