Deck overview

This deck is a high-speed Izzet combo list led by Malcolm, Keen-Eyed Navigator and Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar. The game plan establishes Kediss on Turn 2 and Malcolm on Turn 3. When Malcolm attacks an unblocked opponent, Kediss replicates that damage across all other opponents, triggering Malcolm to create 3 Treasure tokens every combat step. This mana surplus fuels quick tutoring and deployment of Glint-Horn Buccaneer, which combos directly with Malcolm to deal lethal damage to the table in a single combat step. Alternatively, the deck can turn pingers like Reckless Fireweaver into Pirates using Trickery Charm or Imagecrafter to create infinite Treasure and damage loops, or close out games with Niv-Mizzet, Parun and Curiosity. Backed by a dense, low-mana counterspell suite, the deck consistently threatens protected wins on Turn 4.
