Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Boros Equipment strategy commanded by Bruenor Battlehammer. The primary game plan deploys efficient, low-mana combat threats—such as Swiftblade Vindicator, Goblin Gaveleer, and Champion of the Flame—and pairs them with high-impact Equipment like Colossus Hammer and Maul of the Skyclaves. Bruenor Battlehammer accelerates this game plan by waiving the equip cost on the first activation each turn while granting +2/+0 for each attached piece. By Turn 4 to 5, the deck presents lethal combat attacks, knocking out opponents in rapid succession across Turns 5 through 7. Robust permanent protection from Swiftfoot Boots, Mask of Avacyn, and Akiri, Fearless Voyager shields key attackers from removal. If the board stalls or combat lanes become cluttered, Godo, Bandit Warlord provides an immediate infinite combat combo with Helm of the Host, ensuring a decisive finish.
